One of Malaysia’s largest integrated iron and steel complexes requested an inspection from Tecsia Lubricants’ lubrication experts.  The site visit was held in the iron making plant. 

One of their growing problems included multiple damages by high level of wear and ineffective heat dissipation in their machinery applications. Much of the applications’ effectiveness and lifespan found, were lost due to common errors of vibration and improper lubricant protection. Consequently, the plant has to shut down daily for relubrication and parts replacement.

The objective was to assist the client with lubrication problems, minimise unscheduled downtime and reduce expenses maintenance significantly. Plans were discussed to tap on Tecsia’s expertise and consultancy for the iron making operations. After surveying the plant and with a strong foundation of the iron and steel industry, our lubrication experts are confident of a troubleshoot success.
