Malaysian Steel Mill Receives Effective Solutions From Tecsia Lubricants

Coupling gear, applied with Tacbecon SCG 100S, still well lubricated even after three months of application.
Before receiving Tecsia Lubricants lubrication solution, Malaysia’s major steel manufacturer had to have their critical equipment rolling stand undergo servicing every 2 weeks to 1 month for re-lubrication.
Through Tecsia Lubricants series of consultations and inspections, it was found that the mill’s rolling stand’s coupling gears were under-lubricated and suffered a great deal of heavy wear. The grease used was unable to withstand the loadings and harsh operating conditions of the mill.
Tacbecon SCG 100S was recommended to be applied unto the coupling gears. Three months after application, on the 21 June 2013, the coupling gears were found to be working well despite being checked after an extended working interval. These gears faced minimal amount of grease washout with Tacbecon SCG 100S and no re-lubrication was required.
