Here are the cooling towers at Hongsa Power Plant.
In April 2014, the Marketing and Technical teams travelled to Xayaboury province in Laos. The coal-fired power plant in Hongsa district was visited. It will be the highest capacity power plant in the province. The power plant is targeted to complete in 2016, providing 1878 MW of energy.

There, Tecsia Lubricants conducted a site survey to inspect the crushers, conveyor, reclaimers, stackers and sizers. The goal was to recommend solid lubrication systems to aid with improving operation efficiency and prevent unscheduled downtime.  Any unscheduled downtime will cause major inconvenience to the power plant being a crucial source of energy generation.

Plans were discussed to tap on the lubrication expertise and consultancy for the power plant’s operations. Training was also given to the engineers at the first visit in November 2013. Tecsia Lubricants will continue to provide support on all technical issues.
